Minimum balance required to open High Yield Savings Account is $10. Account balances below $25,000 will earn 0.50% APY on the entire balance. Account balances equal to or more than $25,000 will earn 3.59% APY on the entire balance. There is a $3 monthly maintenance charge for balances under $250. Each depositor is insured by the FDIC to at least $250,000. All deposits above the FDIC amount are insured by the Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF).
